The Flight Carbon Footprint Calculator estimates the greenhouse gas emissions from your air travel based on flight distance, seat class, and trip type.

Business and first-class seats have a significantly higher carbon footprint because they occupy more floor space per passenger, meaning fewer travelers share the aircraft's total emissions. Economy class distributes the fuel burn across more passengers, resulting in a lower per-person footprint.
