Free Shopping Calculators Online
Calculate discounts, compare prices, and find the best deals.
Sales, coupons, and promotional offers bombard consumers daily — but knowing the true value of a deal requires quick math that most people skip. Our Discount Calculator cuts through the noise by computing the exact sale price, total savings, and effective discount for any purchase. Enter the original price and one or more discount percentages to see what you actually pay. The tool handles single discounts, stacked discounts, and buy-one-get-one scenarios so you can compare offers with clarity and spend your money where the real savings are.

Shop Smarter With Math
Retailers use pricing psychology to make discounts seem larger than they are. "Up to 70% off" might apply to one item. "Buy 2 get 1 free" sounds like 33% off but only if you wanted three items. Our Discount Calculator shows the objective numbers — what you pay, what you save, and the effective per-item discount.
Discount Calculator
Enter the original price and discount percentage to see the sale price and dollar amount saved. For stacked discounts (e.g., 20% off plus an additional 15%), the calculator applies them sequentially to show the true combined discount — always less than simply adding the percentages.
Comparing Deals
A $10-off coupon on a $50 item (20%) is a better deal than 15% off $100 ($15 savings but lower percentage). Our calculator helps you evaluate offers on a level playing field by showing both dollar and percentage savings.
Shopping Calculation Tips
- Stacked Discounts — 20% off + 10% off = 28% total, not 30%. The second applies to the already-reduced price.
- Per-Unit Pricing — Always calculate price per unit when comparing package sizes. The larger package is not always cheaper.
- Threshold Offers — "Spend $75 get $15 off" is only worthwhile if you were already spending $75.
- Sales Tax — Tax applies to the discounted price, so your tax bill also shrinks with the discount.
Frequently Asked Questions
Multiply the original price by (1 − discount rate). For 25% off a $60 item: $60 × (1 − 0.25) = $60 × 0.75 = $45. You save $15. Our Discount Calculator computes this instantly and also handles stacked discounts where multiple percentage reductions apply sequentially.
Only on a per-unit basis when you buy exactly two. You pay full price for one item and get the second free, so your average cost per item is 50% of the original. But you have to want two items. If you only need one, the deal saves you nothing. Always evaluate whether the quantity matches your actual needs.
Each discount applies to the price after the previous discount. For 30% off then 20% off: start with $100, apply 30% → $70, then apply 20% to $70 → $56. The total discount is 44%, not 50%. Our Discount Calculator applies up to multiple sequential discounts and shows the effective combined percentage.
